VPK Enrollment for the 2026-2027 school year is now open.
It is recommended that you gather the required documents before you start the online process. Required documents.
The online application requires a Focus Parent Portal Account with a valid email address. For the best results, please use Google Chrome. Answer the questions carefully and be prepared to upload the required documents. After submitting your application, you will receive an email confirming receipt of your online enrollment application.
Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK)
Parents can enroll their children who are 4 years old by September 1 and reside in Florida in this state-funded VPK program.
First, you will need to apply for your child's VPK certificate through ECS4kids. It can take 48 hours or longer to receive approval. Once approved, download your certificate from your ECS4kids portal, sign it, and complete the steps below. You will need the certificate to complete the application with Bradford County Schools below.

CREATE A PARENT ACCOUNT & ENROLL A VPK STUDENT
I ALREADY HAVE A PARENT ACCOUNT & NEED TO ENROLL A VPK STUDENT
- Select VPK New Student as the form type
- Select the Desired School of enrollment. This would be the school your address is zoned for (Bradford Elem, Starke Elem, or Lawtey Elem)

New K-12 Student
To enter Kindergarten, your child must be 5 years old on or before September 1.
If your child has never been enrolled in a Bradford County School and will be enrolling in one of these grades, K-12, please follow the directions below to start your online application.
CREATE A PARENT ACCOUNT & ENROLL A K-12 STUDENT. For parents who do NOT have a Focus Parent Account, and the child has never been enrolled in a Bradford County School. Create a parent account and then select "I would like to apply for enrollment for a new child." Complete a "K-12 New Student Enrollment."
I ALREADY HAVE A PARENT ACCOUNT & NEED TO ENROLL A NEW STUDENT. For parents who already have a Focus Parent Account and would like to enroll another child in a Bradford County School. Log in to your parent account and select the "Forms" tab and "Online Application." Then select "I would like to apply for enrollment for a new child."
Registration Confirmation: After the student's information is submitted, the registrar will verify it and contact you with the start date.
Re-enroll Inactive Student K-12
If your child was previously enrolled in a Bradford County School, then left, and is now returning, please contact the zoned school for re-enrollment information. (This will include any student who was enrolled at the Rainbow Center, VPK, and Home Education.)
Use the School Directory to contact your zoned school's registrar/data clerk.
Current K-12 Students
The district sends an Annual Enrollment Update form to your Focus Parent Account as early as July at the beginning of each school year. Please complete the form as soon as possible before school starts. You must complete the form before you can view your child's information in Focus, see the student schedule, and communicate with teachers.
Need To Know What School Your Child Is Zoned For?
Use the Interactive Zoning Map and enter your address in the top right corner. Once the map has pinned your location, zoom out to see what school your address is zoned for.
