The Finance Department oversees the administration of budgets, payroll, financial and operational audits, financial reporting, accounting, management of fixed assets, accounts payable, school bookkeeping, internal accounts, and purchasing for the District under the guidance of the Chief Financial Officer.

While maintaining integrity, ethics, and sound financial practices, the Finance department will strive to evaluate programs, products, and opportunities in an effort to improve the District’s financial welfare, benefits, and success.

The Florida Legislature created Transparency Florida to provide the
public with unprecedented access to state government spending
information by posting Florida’s operating budget and associated
expenditure records online.
