  • Bus Drivers Needed!

    Bradford County Schools will be starting a School Bus Driving Class. Orientation is Monday, September 20, 2021 at 4 p.m. This will take place at the Bradford County Transportation Department building. If you are looking for a career that will work well with your child's schedule or need a job, come join our team. No experience necessary.     Florida Statewide Assessment Scores are now available to Parents and Students via their FOCUS Parent and Student portals. View each Test Report to see how well you scored and receive information on how to improve your scores moving forward.

  • Substitute Training!

    Substitute teacher training will take place on October 12th from the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The training will take place at the Bradford County School Board Conference Room. Thinking about substitute teaching? Come to Bradford County’s Substitute Teaching 101! You’ll learn: How to be the first person teachers and principals call when they need a sub. How to keep students engaged and moving forward….even if you don’t know anything about the content you’re teaching. How to understand and prevent student misbehavior and how to respond effectively when they do. How to work with the students in class who have disabilities.

  • Employee Benefit Enrollment!

    All benefit-eligible employees will need to enroll with a benefits counselor from Explain My Benefits. The enrollment dates are August 16th- August 20th. You can find more information on enrollment at www.bcsd-benefits.com.

  • BCSD Recognize Community Business Partners!

    On Monday, May 10, 2021 the Bradford County School Board recognized community business partners who have worked with district employment specialists and Bradford County students. These employers have opened up their place of business as a training site for students to gain work experience through a non paid on-the-job training program. These opportunities help students explore career interests, skills, and abilities. District staff are truly thankful for the collaborative efforts of each employer! See more info.

  • Southside Elementary Wins Third Annual Elementary Reading Contest!

    Congratulations to Southside Elementary, winner of the third annual Elementary Reading Contest, “Spring Into Reading!” Southside had the overall greatest gains on their recent STAR reading assessment. Way to go ALL elementary students and teachers for working hard every day! Featured in the photo, L to R: Superintendent Hartley, SSE Principal Emilee Mecusker and Kenny Clark, Bradford County Property Appraiser, trophy and icee pop treat sponsor. The faculty and staff will also be treated to a luncheon compliments of the Bradford County Telegraph.
