Mission and Vision Statement
To support the student's ability to learn throughout their school journey by presenting healthy food selections and promoting positive lifelong nutrition decisions.
The Department of Food and Nutrition Services is a team of well trained professional, food preparation and service personnel who are dedicated to providing healthy, nutritious and well prepared meals to all students.
National School Breakfast Week March 2-5
The National School Breakfast Week (NSBW) campaign theme, “Out of This World,” reminds the entire school community that school breakfast provides a healthy and energizing start to the day for students. School nutrition professionals and students will be encouraged to show their enthusiasm for school breakfast from March 2-5 as the district celebrates with special menus, cafeteria events, and more
Students who eat school breakfast:
- Score 17.5% higher on standardized math tests
- Perform better on a variety of indicators than peers who go without breakfast
- Show improved attendance, behavior and decreased tardiness
- Students who eat breakfast have better attention and memory

Bradford County served 194,750 breakfasts during the 2018-19 school year
Bradford County has served 129,320 during the first 6 months of 2019-20 school year and at this pace should out serve last year by over 20,000 breakfast meals.
